SBA Minority Small Business Champion

Eddie Davis, CAAAB, St. Louis Black Leadership Roundtable

Eddie Davis, a serial entrepreneur and minority business advocate, has the words "founder" next to his name for a large number of nonprofits that work to support minority and women business owners. Among his greatest achievements is his co-founding of the Missouri Coalition of Minority and Women Owned Business, an organization that creates a collective voice to advocate for the small business community at the state government level. This coalition is the first of its kind in the United States according to the president of the national Minority Business Education and Legal Defense Fund.

Here is what others are saying about Davis:

Eddie Davis has the ability to envision the need for a community economic development project and communicates with all levels of people in the region to coordinate and plan the effort. Then, he applies his organizational skills to carry out the detailed follow-through during implementation. Davis voluntarily and unselfishly provides an important public service through exemplary dedication to the minority small business community.

- Carl Trautmann, district director, SCORE

I have worked with him to co-found the Missouri Coalition Minority and Women Owned Business. Eddie has a passion for helping small business as it translates into access to growth and procurement opportunities for all businesses. He works to create better environments for small business.
